The play Jenna Langbaum ’15 wrote for her senior project at Hamilton, , will be featured in the New York International Fringe Festival in the Iati Theatre in New York City this August. She will be directing it, and will also be performing in it along with two other 娇色导航 alumni, Andrew Gibeley ’16 and Anna Jastrzembski ’14.
As noted on , “Young love, a professional medical surgeon, whispers, a manic wife, a pool, a baby, Virginia Woolf, sauce, suicide, a psychic, death, a minnow, and one blue night tell the story of how love alters through the course of marriage and loss” in Langbaum’s The Night of Blue and Salt.
Langbaum said, “The Fringe Festival helps to shine light on emerging artists offering them five performances in an off-Broadway theatre in the month of August. Past Fringe alum include the composers and creators of Urinetown the musical and actress and comedian, Mindy Kaling.”
She had previously interned for the festival in the summer of 2013, and her experience inspired her to apply to the festival.
While at Hamilton, Langbaum double majored in creative writing and theatre, and was a member of the sorority, Alpha Theta Chi. She was also actively involved in HEAT, Red Weather, the Continental, WHCL 娇色导航 Radio and Yodapez.
