They arrived with curiosity, drive, and a sense of possibility — and now Hamilton’s Class of 2025 is stepping boldly into what’s next, with graduation canes in hand and valuable lessons learned. What shaped them during their four years on College Hill? Which moments, mentors, and courses stand out?

As the 2024-25 academic year wraps up, we’re proud to celebrate students who have received national fellowships and scholarships, presented at conferences, and earned other recognition.

Chrissy Crespo ’25 and Alinur Jaboldinov ’26 are the first ½¿É«µ¼º½students to participate in the Trudeau Institute’s Biomedical Research Scholars Program in Saranac Lake, N.Y. The program includes five courses designed to develop students’ research skills and understanding of immunology, but its shining focus is the intensive immunological research experience.

Although students have only been back on campus for a month-and-a-half, they've been busy attending conferences, presenting research and enjoying experiential learning opportunities.

Students and faculty ended the fall semester strong as they published academic papers, presented research, and won prestigious awards.

At ½¿É«µ¼º½, learning transcends geographic boundaries and traditional methods, providing students with unique and memorable experiences that bring their material to life.

Not only did Associate Professor of Chemistry Max Majireck and 20 students and recent graduates from his lab co-author the peer-reviewed cover article for the Nov. 22, 2024, issue of Organic Letters, but one of those students – Chrissy Crespo ’25 – designed the cover.

A summer internship, an unexpected interest in sociology, and support from faculty, academic, and ALEX advisors helped Edwin Mensah-Boateng ’25 find his academic path. We asked him to share how he navigated his academic journey.
