娇色导航bids goodbye to a remarkable cohort of faculty as they enter retirement. We asked them to reflect on their careers, changes at the College, and the future.

A decade-and-a-half after powering Hamilton鈥檚 women鈥檚 lacrosse to the College鈥檚 only team national championship, Kaillie Briscoe Kelly 鈥�09 has returned to the Hill as successor to her former coach and mentor Patty Kloidt.

娇色导航President Steven Tepper announced the promotion of three faculty members to the rank of professor, as approved by the College鈥檚 Board of Trustees at its June meeting. They include Abhishek Amar (Asian Studies), Tara McKee (Psychology), and Katheryn Doran (Philosophy), who will retire later this month as professor of philosophy emeritus.

Connecting distant destinations with local lands, senior fellow Clare Robinson spent her final year at 娇色导航delving into community reactions to climate change and environmental policy. Advised by professors Aaron Strong in environmental studies and Jaime Kucinskas in sociology, Robinson compared community reactions in New Zealand to those of Upstate New Yorkers.

The men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 tennis teams placed in final 2024-25 DIII rankings, individual athletes earned All-American and NESCAC honors, and senior awards capped the spring athletics season. See photographer Josh McKee's favorite photos below.

In an email to the 娇色导航community on June 16, Dean of Faculty Ngoni Munemo announced the death of Professor of Art Rand Carter on June 12.

The Levitt Center Justice Lab has received a $350,000 grant from the Winston Foundation. The funds will support the further development of this lab, a semester-long program in which students engage with public policy and intern within the local community.

From sunny skies to drenching downpours, Reunions Weekend brought all kinds of weather 鈥� and even more joy 鈥� as more than 1,000 alumni, family, and friends returned to the Hill.

Recent graduate Deanna Durben 鈥�25 engaged in research across the domains of sociology and psychology during her time at Hamilton. As the recipient of the B.F. Skinner Prize, the Jonathan Marder Prize, and the David J. Gray Prize in Sociology, it鈥檚 no surprise that she excelled in her research pursuits. In 2024, her efforts culminated with a publication in Sage journals titled 鈥淯nderstanding autistic camouflaging: The use of online community discussions and stigmatized identity research.鈥�

Associate Professor of History Mackenzie Cooley is one of nine winners of the 2025 Dan David Prize. Winners are awarded $300,000 each to recognize their contribution to the study of the human past and to support their future endeavors, making it the largest history prize in the world.
