On April 6, 120 student-athletes volunteered at 18 different community partners in Clinton, Rome, Utica, and Sauquoit as part of the 2nd Annual SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee)//COOP (Community Outreach and Opportunity Project) Day of Service. The initiative was part of the larger NCAA Division III Week of Service in which groups volunteered at local community partners, including the Thea Bowman House in Utica, and Special Olympics in Rome.

After a semester in Madrid last year through Hamilton鈥檚 Academic Year in Spain, Sabrina Boutselis 鈥19 fell in love with Spanish culture and became fascinated with the growing emphasis on Spanish-English bilingual education. As a result, she applied for and was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to Galicia, Spain.

Adrian Summers 鈥19 has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) to Kenya. A Theatre and Africana Studies major, he answered some questions about his time at 娇色导航and what he hopes to accomplish through his Fulbright ETA.

The 娇色导航Mathletics team has won the Snow Bowl competition this year, edging out teams from Colgate University, Skidmore College, and St. Lawrence University. Skidmore won the cup last year, so the team is very proud to bring it back to Hamilton.

Henry Shuldiner 鈥19 has been awarded a Fulbright Teaching Assistantship to Colombia. A literature major from Washington, D.C., he studied in the School for International Training鈥檚 Education and Social Change Program in Santiago, Chile, in 2018.

It isn鈥檛 all play and no work for 娇色导航 students during their spring break, March 15 to 31. From Alternative Break volunteer service trips in Baltimore and South Carolina to a trek over the Himalayas in Nepal, 娇色导航students are pursuing their academic, charitable, and athletic interests all over the globe.

Andrea Dickmeyer 鈥19, recipient of a 2019 Watson Fellowship, will explore 鈥淣ature Based Therapeutic Programs and Mental Well-Being.鈥 Watson Fellows receive a $30,000 stipend to pursue a 鈥測ear of independent, purposeful exploration鈥 abroad. Dickmeyer will travel to Australia, Norway, Hungary, and Japan.
