娇色导航 conducted a live emergency drill in partnership with the New York State Police and the New York Air National Guard. To comply with the federal Clery Act, the College is required to test its response systems annually.

Ifeoluwa Aiyelabowo 鈥�19 has been awarded a U.S. Department of State Critical Languages scholarship to China. Aiyelabowo will study in Dalian, China, this summer before he starts his career at the financial services consulting firm Capco, where he interned last summer.

Emily Yong 鈥�19 has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to Taiwan. She is a Dean鈥檚 List neuroscience major from New York City.

Freeman Hrabowski, III, president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), will deliver 娇色导航鈥檚 2019 Commencement address and receive an honorary degree on Sunday, May 26, at 10:30 a.m., in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.

娇色导航 is among U.S. colleges and universities that produced the most 2018-19 Fulbright U.S. students, according to the U.S. Department of State鈥檚 Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The Fulbright Program is the U.S. government鈥檚 flagship international educational exchange program. Top-producing institutions are highlighted annually in The Chronicle of Higher Education.

Hamilton's Oral Communication Center organized the annual Public Speaking Competition where students compete for more than $12,000 in prizes.

Despite what team captain Jay Carhart 鈥�21 describes as 鈥渁 strange year for 娇色导航curling,鈥� the team is headed for the USA Curling College Championship March 8 to 12 in Wayland, Mass.

Tsion Tesfaye 鈥�16 has been selected as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar at Stanford University. Knight-Hennessy Scholars receive full funding for graduate study at Stanford. The program aims to develop an interdisciplinary community of future global leaders to address the world鈥檚 most complex challenges through collaboration and innovation.

Among the biggest fans for this weekend鈥檚 men鈥檚 hockey NESCAC playoffs will be volunteers from Arc, an organization for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The volunteers, who come to campus on Thursdays to help out with the Athletic Department, have formed a special bond with members of Hamilton鈥檚 men鈥檚 hockey team.

Six 娇色导航juniors have been awarded Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships for study abroad during the spring 2019 semester.
