In Margarita Cabrera鈥檚 exhibit 鈥淪pace in Between鈥 at the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art, viewers can catch a colorful glimpse of the Southwestern desert through the eyes of immigrants. The exhibit features fabric cacti sculptures decorated with vibrant stitching and symbolic images from the experiences of Latin American immigrants who came to the United States.

At the First-Year Course Conference on Dec. 2, 10 different first-year courses from across disciplines came together to present their work from the semester. For four hours, one corner of the library was populated by colorful posters, literature and artwork, as well as groups of students showing off their skits and presentations.

Suddenly, partygoers were startled by a scream for help. A man was found in the hallway鈥攍ying dead鈥攚ith a suspicious bite mark on his neck.
